Board of Directors

Springwater-Wayland EMS has a Board of Directors who are responsible for all fiscal and contractual obligations of the organization. SWEMS is a 501(c)3 non-profit and the Board of Directors ensure that the organization abides by the requirements imposed by the IRS.

The Board of Directors are:

President – Sue Walker

Vice-President – Tim Stoddard

Tim joined SWEMS in 2015 and became a certified EMT in 2017. Tim in a US Navy Veteran and a cancer survivor, being cancer free since July 2016. He is currently employed at Gunlocke.

Secretary- Dylan Baker

Treasurer -Jessica Tucker 

Jessica is a 2001 graduate of Livonia Central School in Livonia, N.Y.  She started her adventures in first response as a firefighter for the Conesus Fire Department where she was a member for almost a year.  She then took time off to focus on her growing family.  Jessica is currently attending Southern New Hampshire University online working towards her MBA in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting.  She received her Associates and Bachelors in Accounting through Everest University.  She is currently serving on the board as treasurer.

Member – Timothy Macdougal

Tim has been in the Wayland Cohocton community all of his life and attended Wayland-Cohocton Schools. Tim furthered his academic career at three local colleges where he finally graduated at Corning college with two associates degrees – one in criminal justice and the second in Liberal arts as a math and science major. Tim has worked for many local businesses in and out of this area. Tim continues to strive to help others as he is almost to the end of his journey on becoming an EMT, with the state exam in March 2020. Currently, Tim is a cleared Emergency Vehicle Operator for SWEMS. He enjoys helping others and his family and friends. Tim says ” Paying it forward is necessary in life for anyone to be truly happy!”
