Springwater-Wayland EMS has a Board of Directors who are responsible for all fiscal and contractual obligations of the organization. SWEMS is a 501(c)3 non-profit and the Board of Directors ensure that the organization abides by the requirements imposed by the IRS.

President – Sue Walker
Susan is a Wayland native and a charter member of SWEMS. She has served on the organizing Committee with the Fire Commissioners from Wayland and Springwater. Although I have no EMS training or experience, I wanted to give back to those who have volunteered to serve our community in this manner. I admire and respect all EMS personnel for the work they do in saving lives. I am currently employed with the State of New York, and have a background in Adult education and Youth Employment Programming. I am an alumnus of State University of Fredonia and enjoy the outdoors, reading, theater, and dogs of all shapes and sizes. Mark and I have raised two children here in Wayland, and they currently live and work in Virginia. Please feel free to contact me if you would like more information about our group.
Vice-President – Nicole Tatlock
Nicole Tatlock is a certified EMT and has a degree is Digital Media.
Secretary – Victoria VanDyke
Victoria has worked in Home Healthcare and currently works as a secretary at a school district. She is enthusiastic about improving EMS and ensuring all of our paperwork is up to date.

Ray has been an active Emergency Vehicle Operator and past Captain for SWEMS. Ray is also an active firefighter and a Commissioner with Perkinsville FD. Ray is an outdoor enthusiast and has operated his own contracting business for many years.
