Learn Stop The Bleed

In support of EMS Week and Stop the Bleed Day, SWEMS will be joining instructors from across the country and the world on May 19th at 6 PM to provide a public Stop The Bleed class.

In under 2 hours, our certified instructors will teach you how to control major bleeding and save a life. These skills are not just for major events, we live in a farming community and these skills can be useful with many kinds of major farm accidents, range accidents, or even a car crash.

It can take between 3 and 5 minutes to bleed out but the national average for first responders to get on scene is almost 9 minutes. Learn how to save a life!
