In recognition of EMS Week, here is a high level history of EMS in the Wayland area. Our members honor the efforts of the EMS providers who have gone before us – from the Funeral Homes to the Fire Department and now SWEMS.
We would also like to recognize our neighbors at the Wayland Fire Department for their 150th Anniversary, with 48 years of that time also providing ambulance service to the Town and Village of Wayland.
