Cooper Tire Donates Tires

The members of SWEMS are excited to announce that we received a donation of tires for both ambulances from Cooper Tires working with the Gary Sinise Foundation. We received 6 Cooper® WORK Series™ ASA Load Range G tires for A-4 and 6 Cooper Discoverer AT3 LT Load Range E tires for A-14. Cooper Tires covered the cost of mounting and balancing them at Dansville Auto Mart Inc.

Chief Fred Grambs stated “I was surprised when Bobby George from the Gary Sinise Foundation reached out with an offer from Ava Jacobs and Emily Coughlan from Cooper Tires. Ever since Nick from the Gary Sinise Foundation called me, it has been great to work with them. Our agency greatly appreciates the recognition and assistance that the Gary Sinise Foundation and Cooper Tires offers to smaller volunteer first responder agencies like SWEMS, especially during this time of COVID-19, when in person fundraisers are difficult to run.”

Due to the pandemic, SWEMS had to cancel this years Wayland Fun Days, which has had an adverse impact on fundraising.
